Precision Craftsmanship & Professional Installation

Best Bar window guards are an effective solution to deter and prevent break-and-enter crimes. These window bars are a simple, clean line design; strong and economical. Steel construction, powder-coated white, and available in 12 expandable models to cover most window sizes.

Egress or hinged window bars are required in all bedrooms and other rooms where people may sleep. Fixed-style window bars do not allow for quick and easy escape. Fixed Bars can be installed in garages, laundry rooms, furnace rooms, and other rooms. When installing window bars just remember to allow 2 points of egress from every bedroom or any room where a person could be unconscious or trapped and unable to exit through the door.

Pricing for best bar security bars is based on style (hinged or fixed) and sizing. The following chart has pricing listed accordingly. Please call us at 403-262-9955 with questions or stock inquiries.

Best Bars are heavy duty window security bars installed to protect against break and enter crimes. To accommodate different heights, Best Bars are available with 2, 3, 4, or 5 bars and 3 adjustable widths:

Model 44: 24 inches to 44 inches wide
Model 64: 34 inches to 64 inches wide
Model 84: 44 inches to 84 inches wide

To select the correct size for your window(s):

Determine the Model for the width
Determine the height and number of Bars
Determine egress/exit needs: all bedroom window bars must be hinged and not locked. They need to allow occupants to exit in case of fire or other dangers. Other windows do not require security bars to open.

Within Calgary, installation starts at $160.00 for the first window, plus $30.00 for each additional Best Bar.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Lynn was wonderful on the phone the other day. She answered all my questions with a great attitude. She was very kind and friendly. Even though I did not buy anything, she still took the time to do extra research for me. Her helpful service stood out. I truly appreciate her time and care.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We can only say wonderful things about working with Charlee and Blaine at Mr Wrought Iron. We ordered 2 storm doors. From the phone conversations and onsite consultation with Charlee (which helped us tremendously in understanding the numerous options for the doors) to Blaine’s home visit and recommendations, to ongoing communication and finally to the installation (which was very quick and thorough including matching our keys to the door locks), we can only STRONGLY recommend Mr Wrought Iron. Our doors are exactly as we wanted and they are beautiful.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I love my new security door. Blaine is a great guy, he was working with his helper and installed the door and window bars. They make sure everything is perfect, explain how it works. From coming out to measure and helping me decide colour and design to delivering and installing I couldn’t have asked for a smoother finish . Quality product that I would recommend to everyone .
